Recently, on June 2, 2021, the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutum revealed in the Ashanti Region an award ceremony for 12 Senior High Schools in the Ashanti Region that performed tremendously well in the WASSCE 2020. It also emerged that Tepa Senior High Tops in the Ashanti Region 2020 WASSCE Ranking.

Full List & The Way Forward 

The GES through its Facebook page made this known to the public. It was also indicated that this award ceremony will be replicated in the other 15 regions in the country with the intention to motivate teaching and learning in the senior high schools.

It is also important to note that the GES is yet to release the full list of WASSCE 2020 ranking which captures the performance of the over 700 senior high schools in Ghana. At current, it is WASSCE 2019 ranking that is publicly available.
